Reception desk for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) London office

 In Woodwork

I normally design all the things I build myself, but in this case I worked with an interior designer. Because of the size of lumber they required I made it out of Douglas Fir. West’s had to cut the tree down. This slowed things down a bit. Birch wood ply was used for the desk and other elements. The large members are fixed together with threaded bar. Also included are some pictures of an Oak hot desk I made, the stainless steel work was done by a local fabricator. It was great to be in my old/new office again.
